To show our appreciation to the dedicated Leopold Elementary staff, the PFO is sponsoring a "Giving Tree." We asked all staff members to share a wish list for their classroom/department. The response has been wonderful, and the staff's wishes vary tremendously. Look at our Wish List page to learn more.
Please visit the "Giving Tree" located on the wall opposite the main entrance, or check out our wish list items document.

Online shopping benefits Leopold all year
Before the magic of the internet, holiday shopping required careful planning and hours of endless searching through shopping malls and stores. These days online shopping has virtually eliminated the need to venture out in the cold and snow to purchase that perfect gift. This holiday season and throughout the year, your online purchases can provide a direct benefit to Leopold without adding any additional items to your shopping cart. Before you log on to your favorite online merchant, consider starting from one of these sites:
Box Tops Marketplace – Over 100 popular retailers give eBoxTops to our school when you start your online shopping trip at the Box Tops website.
GoodShop – Start at the GoodSearch website and select Shop. If you have the GoodSearch toolbar installed you will know immediately what percentage is donated to our school when you choose your online merchant. The number of available coupons is also displayed.
Amazon.com – Enter the world of Amazon from the PFO Blog Amazon Rewards link to the right (the box that says Search Amazon.com). When you start your shopping from the PFO Blog a percentage of your purchases will be returned as a donation. The amount of the donation depends upon the merchant.
So if you plan to spend some quality time shopping from home in your favorite fuzzy slippers this year, please consider using one of the above methods to make your purchases work harder to support Leopold Elementary. Consider sharing this information with family and friends who join you on your virtual shopping trip. Thank you!

November 23 - Box Tops Collection Contest deadline
The PFO has once again partnered with Pump It Up in Fitchburg to offer a Box Tops for Education collection contest. Now through November 23, collect Box Tops, stick them to the collection sheets sent home in backpacks two weeks ago, and return the completed sheets to your child's teacher. The class with the most Box Tops will win a FREE Papa John's pizza party and passes to Pump It Up. Collection sheets are available at the Documents link above so you can print more as you need them.
Make sure both your child's teacher's name is on the collection sheets so the right classroom gets credit for the Box Tops. Happy clipping!

No Bake Sale on November 8
The PFO Election Day Bake Bale scheduled for November 8 is canceled. PFO activities for the each school year are scheduled at the end of the prior school year in order to meet printing and scheduling deadlines. While next Tuesday, November 8 is identified as Election Day, there are no local races in Madison and polling places will be closed.
Check the PFO Calendar (link above) for a schedule of upcoming events. If spring elections are scheduled we may add a Bake Sale to the calendar and will contact parents and staff at that time.
Thank you.
