Thank You, Picture Day Volunteers  

Thank you to all the volunteers who signed up to help with Picture Day!  These volunteers helped the picture day process for students and teachers go smoothly. They also received $50 off their picture package!

PFO Meeting October 13      
                                         
Next week is our first PFO meeting of the 2015-2016 school year.  This meeting will be from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Leopold Library Media Center (LMC).  We will be discussing the year ahead, opportunities to get involved, and hear from Principal Karine Sloan on our School Improvement Plan (SIP).  Spanish translation, light refreshments and free childcare will be available.

La semana que viene es nuestra primera reunión PFO del año escolar 2015-2016. Esta reunión será de 6:00-7:00 en el centro de medios biblioteca de Leopold (LMC).  Vamos a discutir el año por delante, oportunidades para participar y saber de Principal Karine Sloan en nuestro Plan de mejora para la escuela (SIP).  Traducción en español, refrescos y cuidado de niños gratis estarán disponibles.

It's Box Top Collection time!

Collection sheets should be going home with your child. Attach Box Tops to the sheet or in a sandwich bag, preferably with the number of Box tops and child's teacher on them.  Be sure to check the expiration date! Box tops are due October 16.

Restaurant Night is coming!

The next Leopold Elementary Restaurant Night is Monday, October 19 from 4 pm - 10 pm at Silver Mine Subs located at 2601 West Beltline Highway. 20% of all proceeds will support Leopold Elementary School.

Bake Sale Volunteers needed!

Last year, Leopold PFO held a Bake Sale during Open House.  Thanks to our generous families, we had an incredible and delicious selection of baked goods.  Can you help the PFO repeat the success this year?  To hold a Bake Sale, we need volunteers to organize the event, price and set up goods, and staff the sales table.
